I just heard about another exciting event running this month, It’s at the excellent Free Trade Inn on the banks of the Tyne in Newcastle.
It runs from 27th to the 30th January On Sunday evening they have some live music with a few local Blues and Jazz ‘The Eleven’ and the ‘Cup of tea bop quintet’ are both fairly new bands but both full of very good musicians which should make for a very ‘Free Trade’ musical experience.

Depending on the weather there may also be a few other treats in store.
The festival will have 30 beers, 12 ciders and a few guest draughts, with the possibility of more beers from the USA if they arrive in tim (let’s hope the do)
There should be 9 handpulled ales along with 5 from the cellar and 4 draught guest beers on at any one time, the best way to keep up to date is via twitter or facebook, they are also happy for you to give them a call to see what’s on. I’ve put a list of beers below and there are some absolute crackers on there.
