I got an interesting message on facebook from one of they guys over at Cropton Brewery so thought I would share the details with you.
Come and stay with us and learn how to brew your own beer.
You will be taught about the brewing process, learn which malts and hops to choose to create different flavoured beers, design your own beer with the help of one of our craft brewers, design your own bottle label and have your beer bottled and labelled with your own label for you.

Itinerary
1st Day
6pm Arrival and check in 6.30pm meet in the bar for an introduction to us
7pm Brewery Tour and lesson in the brewing process
8pm Design your own beer whilst enjoying a 3 course meal
10pm Back to the bar or bed
2nd Day
8.30am breakfast
9am Down to the brewery to create your mash
10am Design your own label and transfer mash to copper
11.30am Add Hops
12noon Light Lunch
12.30pm Collected from The New Inn taken to PeatRigg activity centre to enjoy activities such as Archery, Climbing, Tree Top assault courses and Zip Lining (http://www.peatrigg.co.uk)
Whilst you are away the brew will have secondary hops and yeast added then will be cooled and transferred to the fermenter
4.30pm Return to Brewery to test the brew
5pm Finish
We will then ferment, bottle and label your beer with your own labels and deliver it two weeks later to you anywhere in the UK.
Minimum of 10 people Max 20£180 per person sharing includes:
- 1 x nights B&B accommodation at The New Inn
- 1 x 3 course evening meals
- 1 x light lunch or pack lunch
- 4 bottles each of your own label beer
Additional quantities of your own beer can be bought if required.
I think it sounds like quite a good laugh for a team building thing or a stag do
