I’ve just had an email from the guys over at Durham Brewery wishing their drinkers a Merry Christmas, it also contained this useful bit of beer care info so I thought I would share the email with you.
Hello Drinkers,
Just a quick note to say that normal places for keeping beer in this weather will be too cold. Garages and utility rooms are likely to be around freezing which will cause the beer to seem flat and throw a chill haze.
For best drinking please keep in the warm and chill before serving if necessary.

I know that my garage has been geting well below 0 degrees lately so i’ve brought tonights beers in and stood them on the tiled floor in the corner of the kitchen.
